It is not fair or appropriate to call the Gerrer Rebbe a cult leader, despite his encouragement to get flu shots clearly being misguided. Also, many (all?) Rebbes inherit their position - this is de rigeur; this does not turn houses of Chassidus into "cults."
As far as the Mishna Brura, it's very possible that this (admittedly underwhelming) accomplishment was cherry picked by the Jewish Press.
I'm not responsible for what Rabbi Miller said or didn't say. He did make extremely sharp comments about movements within the religious world that were going against the Torah. I have the same privilege. If you disagree, that's your business.
