From the language of this post it implies that living in Israel today is not living in golus, as opposed to living in the diaspora. Maybe this is just for colloquial purposes, however, that is obviously not the case literally with the simple proof that even those in Israel recite מפני חטאינו גלינו מארצנו etc.

You can make a good argument I'm sure that there is a reason to make aliya today, however describing it with the terms galus etc is misleading.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe did refer to the aliya of Russian Jews in 1992 as a start of קיבוץ גלויות.

מפני חטאינו גלינו מארצנו is past tense. Come on.

The content sounds similar to the Eim Habanim Smeicha. But I'm sure there is much to write about in the years since it was published. Looking forward to the book.

Eim Habanim Smeicha is a masterpiece and the author was a massive Talmud Chacham with the wide expanse of Torah at his fingertips. There can be no comparison between the two works. But I believe this sefer will be an important contribution in our generation.
