Make Draft Refusal Great Again

Responses

"we only need two people to win the war: one to fly the plane and one to drop the bomb."

"The religious army has been a decade away for 80 years. Just like fusion power."

I read your article and did a voice call on a har Habayis (supposedly hard-core settler types) WhatsApp group to see what they would say. they respond with "one day, one day, one daaaay, we will be a religious army." And of course "if no one joins the army, we will all be dead ⚰️🇮🇱⚰️" and also , "but we have religious units."

Then I said,

1. We only need two people to win the war: One to fly the plane and one to drop the nuke.

2. No one is helped by being sent to in to die in a tunnel.

3. The religious units are still only allowed to shoot only after they have been shot at and hit at least 3 times, and only after notifying they will shoot them, then they can only shoot them in the leg (if he is over 18.) Afterwords, there will be a full investigation, and if the shooting was deemed unjustified, the victim's medical care will be deducted from the soldiers pay. (Something like that). "Let me know when we are allowed to kill our enemies, when they are religious about warfare, like in the bible, you know?"

I'm all in favor of fighting wars properly, according to halacha, but comments about dropping nukes are psychotic and incredibly irresponsible.

I don't think many people who make comments like that are engaging in hyperbole, nor does that make it any more responsible.

In reality they would just lay siege and leave the 4th wall open.

Also apparently the danger radioactivity is very exaggerated. In order to keep oil and coal price high

Someone with innocuous intentions and without a toxic personality disorder would have simply asked "Is this teaching attributed to a specific rabbi?" This unpleasant back-and-forth is over.
