I perused Slifkins stack. Dear God! The number of sychophants engaging in logical fallacies is actually impressive if not terrifying.

Kofrim tend to have poor character and an inability to think clearly or be consistent. There's a reason why his blog attracts atheists like flies to feces, and there's a reason why he never calls them out. It's a black mark on the Dati Leumi world that a vile hate-mongering kofer is still thought of and dignified as an Orthodox Jew on any level. They should have some standards.

Thank you for your clearing this matter and helping us far away to understand the view. Unbelievable! Why then? Is there a reason for this? Sounds counterproductive, rather insane if not delusional and unfounded, mentally unstable, as though the government has had a lobotomy!

It's quite simple, as I've explained many times. The purpose it to keep the people divided into different camps and channel their anger against each other, instead of uniting against their mutual oppressors.

Well, who is causing this division? It can’t be an advantage to the government or the country, can it? Who is the beneficiary of this?

The goverment, their controlled media, and their controlled infuencers cause the division. Of course it's to their advantage, as I explained in the previous comment. Please actually think about it before responding immediately.

You’re right. Divide and conquer has long been the strategy of tyrants. Excellent article, Chanaya.

what's the breakdown of the number 20k? And where do you get the figures from?

I looked around and the most I got was about 6500. 800 dead, and around 5600 wounded from light to severe.

Check this out from March: https://www.jns.org/surge-of-disabled-vets-exposes-cracks-in-defense-ministrys-rehabilitation-dept/

Then we have this: https://www.gov.il/en/pages/swords-of-iron-idf-casualties

They really have to get their lies straight.

FYI, "Lightly wounded" in their parlance can mean missing a digit: https://gist.github.com/idan/4124398

Whatever numbers these monstrous liars admit to are surely downplayed, too.

yeah, the second article is where I got my numbers from.

But the first article is likely the correct one, which means they are simply lying in the second one.

interestingly enough, did you know that when the anti semites say the 6 million casualty rate is a lie, they are actually telling the truth?

It's actually 20 million that they killed.

One of the dumbest "proofs" of the Jew-haters is that it's mathematically impossible for 6 million Jews to have been gassed to death in all the concentration camps, even working at maximum capacity. They conveniently ignore the fact that Jews were killed in ovens, and in mass shootings, and being rounded up and burned to death in the local shul, and through starvation, disease, etc.

I have no idea how many Jews were actually killed, but we don't have to entertain Jew-haters. May Hashem destroy them soon with all our enemies, internal and external.

Black Earth talks about this.

Fascinating book, but the author is crazy.

Still worthwhile.

I don't think that elitist attitude is helpful or, in many cases, justified.

I don’t see the elitism here. I am referring to being a scapegoat.

I don't know what you mean by psychic energy. I will say once again that I am not "haredi", nor any particular label, and I am not oblivious to the many faults and shortcomings of this artificial camp, which I generally respect but choose not to be a card-carrying member of. We are supposed to be big boys and girls and transcend the mentality of "he started it" or "they deserve it" and see the bigger picture.

I spend a great deal of time in "haredi" strongholds and have never seen the behavior you describe. There are bad apples everywhere, especially in online chat rooms and smear pieces. As I noted in the article, the goyim engage in just this sort of mentality when it comes to smearing "the Jews" and justifying anything and everything as a result. Midah k'negeg midah.

Sophisticated Torah-minded people don't think this way.

So be incredulous. You're in Minnesota getting your information from online chat rooms and the controlled media. I'm in the real world.

I'm not pro Zionist.
